My Story

I wasn’t supposed to go down this path. Before graduating high school, I was dead set on working in the trades, planning to become an HVAC technician or working on the docks. But life had other plans (I messed up my application to trade school) and ended up taking an accidental gap year. During that time, I got to explore the world a little, giving me the chance to step back and see things from a new perspective. I realized that maybe putting my health and body on the line just to make a living wasn’t the best long-term choice. That’s when I pivoted toward something digital. I’ve always had a knack for art and design, and stepping into this industry felt like the perfect blend of both my creative instincts and my passion for building things on my own.

I try to approach design with purpose, always aiming to tell the story right—whether it’s mine or a client’s. Every project is an opportunity to create something meaningful, not just visually appealing.

Beyond design, I spend a lot of time cooking and watching movies and TV shows—the good and the bad. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, and at one point, I decided to take on the challenge of making a beef Wellington. It wasn’t worth the effort, but I’m still glad I did it—if nothing else, just to say I’ve done it. When I’m not designing or cooking, I love diving into films and TV, whether it’s a cinematic masterpiece or something so bad it’s entertaining. I have a deep appreciation for the craft behind storytelling, from the cinematography to the writing to the behind-the-scenes effort that brings it all together.
